THE WORK:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for helping the construction with assigned projects from project completion to turnover. This role requires advanced knowledge of horticulture and irrigation. This role also requires leading and motivating others within the organization while displaying core values of the organization through work quality, service, and character. The position requires a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. As well as going out your job description to help the team win if needed.
Maintenance Operations Management
- Lead 3 teams of maintenance crews to complete daily maintenance routes. On time and safely.
- Maintain the highest quality of completed landscape projects.
- Communicate to leadership any issues in the field.
- Attend customer maintenance walkthroughs and turnover meetings/procedures with Construction Manager.
- Advanced knowledge of common irrigation systems.
- Advanced horticulture knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, ability to work well with others.
- Exceptional work ethic and communication skills.
- Complete weekly safety documents, timesheets, and other documents as needed on company tablet.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Experience/Job Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with favorable DMV record.
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft software systems such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with many different people.
- Strong desire to be a part of close working supportive team.
- Willingness to learn and complete tasks as needed that support the team.
- Comfortable working with various software systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Highly organized, self-starter with little direction needed.
- Team player with the ability to contribute to a team centric culture.
