As a Project Coordinator, you will support our project management team with various project management and administrative tasks. This includes submittal preparation, construction document management, material ordering, subcontractor management, coordination with field staff, and vendor relations. You may also assist with proposal and estimating operations.
Responsibilities:
- Issue material purchase orders to vendors and coordinate deliveries with crew supervisors and vendors.
- Generate plant and tree lists for nursery vendor bids.
- Assist Construction Managers with problem-solving as directed.
- Attend site meetings or visit project sites as necessary.
- Track and submit RFIs to designers during the estimating and construction phases.
- Print and organize construction documents; upload electronic drawings to PlanGrid.
- Follow up on client change orders.
- Complete project submittal packages during pre-construction and prepare closeout/warranty documents during project closeout.
- Generate accurate material takeoffs using STACK software.
- Obtain quotes from material vendors and subcontractors.
- Attend bid opening or pre-bid meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a favorable DMV record.
- Willingness to travel locally as needed, typically within a 100-mile radius of Cameron Park.
- Construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, and comfortable working with various software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse individuals.
- Strong desire to be part of a close-knit, supportive team environment.
- Open to learning and completing tasks as needed to support the team.
- Highly organized and a self-starter who requires minimal direction.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
